Beryl V. Holtzinger, 86, of Millville, N.J., went home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was the daughter of Robert I. and Anna Lannen Hartsock, of Julian.

She graduated from State College High School and attended Penn State University with a major in home economics. Beryl worked at Penn State University in the Spanish department.

She enjoyed being active in all aspects of life. Beryl traveled extensively, both abroad and in the U.S. She participated in bowling leagues at different points in her life and played pickleball in her community when it was possible.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She had a sharp wit and enjoyed card games, dominoes and was always thrilled to hear a new, or old, joke from anyone. She was happiest when helping others and spent time volunteering for Meals on Wheels. Beryl was a member of Bald Eagle Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Holtzinger; and siblings: Naomi (Matthew) Finlay, Amanda (Roy) Miller Swan, Joy (Karl) Wallace, Russell Hartsock, Albert (Donna) Hartsock and Neva Hartsock.
