Mr. Lonnie Milton “Popsicle” Bland, 93, of Scobey, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada. He was born November 14, 1923 in Toccopola to Frank and Gertie Harrison Bland. He was a retired truck driver.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Private burial will follow in the Broom Cemetery near Coffeeville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Friday.
 
Survivors include three sons, Larry Milton Bland of Pebble Creek, CA; Johnny Frank Bland of Utah and David Ricky Bland of California; one step-daughter, Brenda Faye Kilpatrick, Oxford; one step-son, Lamar Tatum of Nashville, TN; one sister, Eda Mae Murphree of Chapman, KS; three grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margie Louise Bland and a daughter, Kaye Crawford.
