Louise A. "Weeza" Aronson, 76, of 205 W. Brown St. in Iron Mountain, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at her home. She was born on April 29, 1930, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late George and Frances (Maynard) Quick.

Louise was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain. She worked at Marten's Manufacturing for many years before retiring. Weeza loved taking care of her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking for all of them.

She married Arne Aronson in 1953 in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1968.

She is survived by two sons, David Aronson of Tucson, Ariz. and Steven (Norma) Aronson of Kingsford; two daughters, Susan (Mark Schuirmann) Richtig of Kingsford and Jean (Dale Lessor) Rea of Iron Mountain; one sister, Betty Smokovitz of Kingsford; two brothers, George (Carol) Quick of Kingsford and Pete (Joyce) Quick of Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews

Louise was preceded in death by one son, Richard Quick in 1994; two sons-in-law, Michael Richtig in 1984 and Michael Rea in 1974; two sisters, Gladys Sorenson and Annette Perry; and two brothers, Robert Quick and James Quick.

Graveside services were held on Friday 2 p.m.at Cemetery Park
