Mrs. Sylvia Hope Barnes, age 73 of Chatsworth, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Regency Park Health and Rehabilitation.
Sylvia attended Homeland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Alvin Barnes; mother, Wincie Plemons; sisters, Elva Lee Cantrell, Ruth Pulliam, and JoAnn Pulliam; brother, John Plemons.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathon and Whitney Barnes of Chatsworth and Casey Barnes of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Adaleigh and Evan Barnes; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wilma and D.L. Banks of Ellijay, GA; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sylvia Hope Barnes will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Poteet and Rev. Matthew Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
