Notes~ This surname is also seen as KIRKENDALL, however the name on other documents, and the stone of the parents, give it as KUYKENDALL. Also, her name is CLARA on her Death Certificate, and IDA in her obituary. Not knowing the correct name, the one on the Death Certificate, CLARA, is being used.

Johnson County records Clara Mae Kuykendall, a 12 years, 3 months, and 29-days-old white female, died about 1 p.m. on 2 December 1918, due to "Pneumonia, Influenza." She was the daughter of Joe Kuykendall, and Sallie Gaffney, both born in Kentucky. Her father was the informant. Burial was at [1st] Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Johnson County on 5 December 1918, D. C. Sprague of Trafalgar, undertaker.
