Was in the following battles of the Revolution, Thickety Fort, Cedar Springs and Musgrove's Mill in South Carolina. Was detailed from the King's Mountain, SC espedition to defend the Watauga Settlement from Indian invasion.

Michael Sr. is the Brother to Benjamin b:10-16-1745 and Jacob b:1746/1748. Not Father.
The Uncle to Mary "Polly" b:abt 1772, John (Wallis) b:3-10-1786 and Nancy b:1786 which is all Benjamin's children.
Michael Sr. is the son of Hans Michael, born 1707 in Glashuetten, Oberfranken, Bavaria, Germany, and Katherine Chasteen b: 1709 m: 1729.
