Randy Williamson was 49 years old, owner of B & R Industries, Inc. and resident of Pompano Beach, Florida when he became the victim of a fatal hunting accident by another hunters carelessness. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1962. He attended and grauated from Boyd Anderson HS in 1976. In 1980, he graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. With little money but huge dreams, Randy used his education and natural gift of business prowess to form B & R Industries, Inc. in 1979. The compay began as a commercial cleners, landscape and irrigation firm. In 1985, he sold the landscape and janitorial business but retained the irrigation firm and made it what it is today. Randy has used his business and investment knowledge to form companies that delved into other ventures such as retail sales, real estate, stock markets, and foreign currencies. Randy was a brilliant but yet simple man. As B & R Industries, Inc. aged, so did his children and one by one they joined his efforts and created a family business that embodied the true definition of the word. Those who knew him, knew the strength and unity of his family was his greatest and most treasured accomplishment in life, and that his business successes paled in comparison. Randy married his life time partner, Toleiha Layne Fox on July 28, 1979 an to this union bore four sons, Travis Randall, Shane Lyle, Lance Christopher and jared Layne. After his 4 boys became men, he was blessed by 2 daughter in laws, Lauren Diane and Erin Patricia and 2 grandsons, Devin Travis and Hunter Joseph. In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, Randy is survived by parents, Wayne and Marjorie Williamson, Charles and Doris Fox and 1 sister, Sheri Lynn Williamson as well as many more relatives and friends. Viewing and services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach on Thursday, March 27th from 4-8 pm, and funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28th at 11:00 am. Contributions may be made to the Randall Williamson Foundation, an educational fund for his grandchildren,in lieu of flowers. Please mail checks to 242 SW 5th St., Pompano Beach, Florida 33060.
