Francis Marion ("Frank") Chandler was the son of James H. Chandler, Sr. (1783—1842) and Susan ("Susan") Anderson (1789-1847) of Virginia, who came to Kentuckyby 1917 and settled in Calloway County, Kentucky, the area where they lived becoming part of Marshall County, Kentucky in 1842. In the 1860 Census of Marshall County, Kentucky. Francos. wife Sisam. and two daughter Perlina , Julius Edwin, and daughterMary Elizabeth are living in Wadesboro, originally the county seat of Calloway County, Kentucky. After Marion sits in 1863, his wife Susan and living children moved to Rockwall, Rockwall County, Texas. They had six known children: Sarah E. (b/ act 1852), Joshua Edwin (1854-1931), Perlina Rosalie (1856-aft 1886), Mary Elizabeth (1859-1939), Lucy J. (act 1861), and Robert Emmett Sr. (1863-1903. Bu 1884, she had moved to Kaufman, Texas, and she and her daughter Mary were living with my grandfther Vincent Woodbury Grubbs. A newspaper article tells of a party they hosted there. And in January of 1884, she and her daughter went with Grandfather to live in Greenville, Texas and in 1890 they wer sill living with him. My 1C3R, she died in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas on 29 Dec 1919.
