Mrs. Ole Moe, 97, of Rock Dell Dies

Mrs. Ole Moe, 97, a lifelong Rock Dell resident and retired farm homemaker, died Tuesday of complications of old age at the Rochester Health Care Center, where she had resided since 1976.

The former Isabelle Larson, she was born Oct. 21, 1881, in Rock Dell, and later married Mr. Moe. The couple farmed in Rock Dell, and he died in 1928. She continued to reside at their farm until entering the nursing home.

Survivors include two sons, Bert and Marvel, both of Rochester; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, two sons, two sisters and two brothers.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at the East St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lester L. Petersoen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Vine Funeral Home in Rochester Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and at the church on Saturday for one hour before the service.
