She was born in Vinton, IA. Her family moved to Almeda when she was a toddler where she lived most of her life.
She is survived by her 4 children, David and wife Linda of Rosharon, Kenneth and wife Kathy of Houston, Virginia Harrison of Avon, MT, Russell and Amy of Houston, and daughter-in-law Janette of Baytown.
She is also survived by a sister, Dahlia Ray Andrews and husband Bill and Brother Tex and wife Joy both of Almeda.
LaRue is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
LaRue was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Blanch Tyler, husband Albert, children Florence and Ivan, brothers LeRoy and Oliver and sisters June Rose Donahoe and Esther Greenstein.

A viewing will be at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, on March 26 from 5 pm to 9 pm.
Graveside services will also be at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on March 27 at 2 pm.
