News reached the city yesterday of the death of Mr. Thos. W. Greer at his home in Norfolk, Va. The remains will arrive here on the Seaboard Air Line train to-day and win be taken to the home of Miss Jerusha Greer, a sister of the deceased, on Dawson, between Third and Fourth streets, where the funeral will be held. Mr. J. Ephralm Greer, of Brunswick county, was in Norfolk with his brother when he died. Other surviving relatives are a son, Mr. D.Macon Greer, of Norfolk, and four sisters, Mrs. Theo. Swann, Mrs. O. C. Burriss, Mrs. R. B. Burriss and Mrs. W. P. Burns, all of this city.
