The funeral of Trueman Cross, late cashier of the Commercial and Farmers Bank, took place from his late residence, No. 9 South Howard Street, yesterday afternoon. The pall-bearers were John Cushing, Wm. Carmichael, G.A. Von Lingen, W.J.H. Watters, Wm. G. Bausemer, directors of the bank; John A. McGreevy, bookkeeper; John D. Early, teller, and Neilson Poe, teller. There were present among others, Chauncey Brooks, Robert Mickle, Wm. J. Albert, Joseph H. Rieman, Wm. J.H. Rieman, Walter C. Brooks, Henry E. Johnston, Josiah L. Johnston, Ezra T. Whitman and Lewis W. Wolfe. The interment was at Greenmount Cemetery. The services at the house were conducted by Rev. J.C.
