RICHLAND PARISH, La. (KTVE/KARD) — Around 9 AM on June 9, 2023, Louisiana State Police Troop F was dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 132 near Old Alto Road. According to authorities, Alexis Berry was restrained in her vehicle but sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The 30 year old wife and mother ultimately succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Alexis was born on November 26, 1992, in Monroe, LA and passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, in Mangham, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Berry; children, Jacob, Brayden, and Addison; stepchild, Jaxsten; parents, Doug and Brandi Gooden, and Jon Martin; mother-in-law, Theresa Southern; siblings, Shelbie and Lane Gooden; siblings-in-law, Brittany and James Berry; grandparents, Mary Ray, Robbie and Cindy May, Thomas Stewart, Ronald Gooden, and Terri Milton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services for Alexis Berry, 30, of Mangham, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 16, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Billy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Lynn Cemetery in Archibald, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday.
