Susan Waguespack Laurent went to Heaven on Monday, June 12, 2023. She will be missed by her husband Duane, of Lewisville, TX; daughter, Sarah Williams and son-in-law Kevin Williams, of Denton, TX; nephews David and Christopher Waguespack; niece Shirah Waguespack; and many beloved cousins, grand-nephews, and nieces.  Born in New Orleans, LA, she resided in Lewisville, TX, for most of her adult life. She volunteered at several libraries in the Lewisville school system. She loved history, family reunions, and genealogy, and as a 42-year member of the German Acadian Coast Historical and Genealogical Society, she published many articles in the society's Les Voyageurs magazine and helped numerous other researchers with their family research. She also enjoyed bus tours and cruises, visiting France, England, Ireland, many islands in the Caribbean, Alaska, and Hawaii.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation and services at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, TX, Thursday, June 22nd with the visitation beginning at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Dr, Denton, TX. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to either the Amyloidosis Foundation or the UTSouthwestern Medical Center.
