May 26, 1956 - June 7, 2023

Charles Keith Allen, age 67, of Grayson, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Howard Allen and Imogene Smith Allen and brother, Ronald Layne Allen. He is survived by his loving wife Amanda J. Allen; mother-in-law, Montine H. Keith graduated from Central Gwinnett High School. He attended Reinhardt College and Lagrange College and obtained his Bachelor's degree. He retired in 2021, from Global Industrial Supply after 25 years of service. Keith was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville where he served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the Crossfire Sunday School Class. Keith never met a stranger. Once you met him you had a friend for life. He loved all sports, but his favorite was the game of baseball. He was an umpire for over 25 years Litte League. Watching the kids play baseball was just so heartwarming to him. He was a season ticket holder for the UGA baseball team and attended the home games for the last several years. Keith was so proud and took immense joy in attending the SEC Championship game in Hoover, AL. In 2014, he went to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Keith was a big UGA fan always wearing red and black and cheering on the DAWGS. He also had a love for his high school, Central Gwinnett. Keith was a basketball manager in high school. During his later years, you would find him in the press box helping with the football games. In 2017 he was given The Ring of Honor for being a long time and loyal Black Knight supporter. Keith had a great love for his family and friends. He will be missed by many, but we know that Keith is rejoicing in Heaven with his mother, father, and brother whom he missed dearly this past year.
