renda Louise North, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on April 23, 2023, at the Banner Del Webb Hospital in Surprise, Arizona. She courageously battled relentless rheumatoid arthritis and complications from a persistent, long-term wound that refused to heal. Brenda was born on July 2, 1947, in Logan, Utah, to the late Waldo and Joyce Broberg.

Brenda embarked on a journey of education and achievement, graduating from Pocatello High School in 1965. She pursued her passion for Business Administration at Utah State University, where she excelled. After completing her studies, Brenda entered into a lifelong partnership with her beloved Gary North, exchanging vows that would bind them together for 54 remarkable years. They had "All my Love Always" engraved inside their wedding rings.

Devoted to her family, Brenda found immense joy in the presence of her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her universe, and she cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was engaging in heartfelt conversations over the phone or gathering together on cherished holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Brenda actively participated in a women's club in Pocatello, relishing the monthly gatherings where lively conversations intertwined with spirited rounds of mah-jongg. The cherished friendships she developed within the club, including Andi Barker, Sue Miller, Cathy Rakatanski, Linda Chivers, Karen Swallow, and Bobette Underwood, were deeply cherished and brought immeasurable happiness to her life. Jan McDougal who now resides in Boise Idaho was also one of her long-time cherished friends.

Professionally, Brenda made valuable contributions as an analyst at the FBI office in Pocatello, Idaho. Beginning part-time, she eventually transitioned to full-time work as her children grew older. Known for her strong work ethic, dedication, and unwavering integrity, Brenda earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues. In 2009, after 23 years of faithful service, she retired, leaving behind a remarkable legacy.

Following retirement, Brenda and Gary embraced a new chapter in their lives, acquiring a beautiful home in the Del Webb +55 Community of Surprise, Arizona and became 'snow birds'. They cherished spending Christmas there with their family and occasionally rendezvoused with Brenda's sister's family, who resided nearby in Scottsdale. The Arizona climate captivated Brenda, and she delighted in the countless amenities her retirement community had to offer. Among her cherished pastimes, she found great pleasure in embarking on leisurely Sunday drives-a cherished tradition that brought her immeasurable happiness.

A bond of love and affection intertwined Brenda's heart with her sister, Ivy Chemodurow, and during her time in Arizona, they frequently relished each other's company, whether it was meeting for lunch, shopping together, or simply enjoying one another's presence.

Brenda's magnetic personality and warm spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed by her devoted husband, children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. As per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held exclusively for immediate family members to honor and celebrate the beautiful life Brenda lived.
