Graveside services for Donnie Richardson, 74, of Crosbyton will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Paul Richardson and Sammie Bownds officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Donnie passed away on March 24, 2008 at his home in Crosbyton. He was born on October 5, 1933 in Floyd County to the late William Jesse and Essie May (Childs) Richardson. On April 27, 1963 he married Wanda Mullins in Matador. Donnie was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and a farmer. He had also driven a truck for Crosby County Fuel Association.
Donnie is preceded in death by two brothers; Lonnie Richardson and Manzey Richardson and four sisters; Vesta Dewbre, Tenia Cooper, Ollie Hash and Bertha Boggs and a grandson Tony Allen Westerman.
Survivors include; two daughters; Donna Lois Brown of Andrews, Texas, Vickie Ramona Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK, four brothers; J. D. Richardson of Crosbyton, L. D. Richardson of Stinnett, Paul Richardson and Sandy Richardson both of Amarillo, two sisters; Vertie Powell of Crosbyton and Betty Boggs of Hereford, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Groneman, Christopher Groneman, Tyler Groneman, Craig Forbes, Tom Hale and Dave Hale.
