Mrs. Wells was a lifelong Frankfort resident and attended Frankfort schools. She was self-employed in the house keeping business for 20 years.
She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, Eagles, American Legion and VFW auxiliaries.
She was born May 25, 1950, in Frankfort to Lester T. and Mary Irene Mangis Howe. She married Frank Wells on December 14, 1968, and he died January 21, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, Michael L. (Star) Wells and Frank L. (Harmony) Wells Jr., both of Frankfort; three daughters, Jackie S. (Jerry) Fudge of Michigantown, Kimberly R. (Jason) Curl and Carol L. (Richard) Taylor, both of Frankfort; two brothers, John Robert (Faye) Howe of Frankfort, Gerald Lee Howe of Florida; two sisters, Lou (Steve) Wright and Sue (Earl) Sparks, both of Frankfort; six grandchildren, Jared Fudge, Jessie Fudge, Jason Curl II, Justin Curl, Joshua Curl and Samantha Taylor.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Arthur Howe, and one sister, Shirley Jean Craven.
Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort, Indiana.
