Barbara Chinski, age 79 of Bear DE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Christiana Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, Michael D. Chinski Sr; 6 step-children, Michael D. Chinski Jr, Jeffrey A. Chinski, Therese M. Goodwin, Kenneth B. Chinski, Richard P. Chinski, Lisa A. Parkhill; her sister Lynn Appel and sister-in-law Bonnie Cohen; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Belle Cohen; her brother Robert Cohen and her step-daughter Michaelene Deavers.

Barbara always enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Once retired, she volunteered for the Little Sisters of the Poor where her hobbies were greatly appreciated. Her charity also extended to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center where she crocheted many hats for cancer patients of all ages.

A brief committal service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery,2465 Chesapeake City Rd Bear, DE 19701.
