Jean enjoyed camping, crocheting, fishing, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Restoration Park Church and was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Jean retired from the Mercy St. John's Center in 2011 after 26 years of service as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Survivors include her two children, Kerri Ann (Ron) Rasor and Rod (Shawna) Suman; six grandchildren, Stacey Rasor, Kristin Morgan, Alicia Ake, Andrea Suman, Jacqueline Rasor and Jake Suman; Seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Sandra Hileman and brother-in-law, Jim Bickel.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Larry Suman; two sisters, Marlene Bickel and Jackie Marbaugh; along with a brother-in-law, Robert Hileman and nephew, Joseph Bickel.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 4-7 PM. A celebration of Jean's life will begin at 11:00 Wednesday in the funeral home with additional visitation one hour prior to the service.
