She was preceded in death by her parents Avery (Abe) and Mary Ellen (Myrtle) Harrington.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Cecil Smith and Marvin Smith; daughters, Leota Plunkett, Aileen Day, Clovie Kepford-1916-2010 and Adaline Turner.
