Taylor Young, 84, of Pancake, Texas, died Monday, March 24, 2008, at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the Gatesville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Henry Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at the Jonesboro Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Young; daughters, Lavinia Shelton and her husband, Richard, of Gatesville, Brenda Young, of Pancake, and Lisa Burnes and her husband, Willy, of Marquez; sons, Michael Young and his wife, Diane, Ivy Young and his wife, Debbie, and Robert Young and his wife, Renee, all of Pancake; and brother, Hayden Young and his wife, Emily, of Pancake; other relatives and many friends.
