Randi Elise Knebel, age 89, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Mountain Home. She was born November 10 1925 in Drammen, Norway to Morten and Polly (Hansen) Korneliussen. She met Leo Knebel during his military service in Norway and they married on October 13, 1945 in Drammen. Thus Randi came to the United States as a nineteen year old war bride.

Randi worked at Baxter Labs for many years and was a division manager before her retirement.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol (John) Eberhard of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Monna Floyd of Flippin, Arkansas, and James Floyd, also by five grandchildren, JT, Tim, Holly, April and Sara and one great-granddaughter, Phoebe. Also surviving her are three sisters and one brother – all of Norway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and two sisters.

Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
