Terence (Terry) Oosterman

Terrance (Terry) Oosterman, 73 passed away peacefully March 2, 2021 after a long history of lung disease. He was known by family as just "Uncle T". We will always remember his smile that was never without cigar. The eldest son of William and Gladys Oosterman, he lived a long life of adventures memorialized by the stories he told. Stories about driving a wrecker in L.A. in the late 1970's, working a NASCAR pit crew and the countless places he and his Harley Davidson motorcycle went. He was a Hoof Trimmer traveling all over New England for 30 years, but some of us think that was less of a vocation and more of a way to travel, see new places and meet new people. He was born in Massachusetts in 1947 but lived the majority of his life in Vermont. He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother William (Bill) Oosterman. He left behind his "Lady", Donna Elmore Oosterman, his brothers Howard, Douglas, and Wesley. Sisters-in-law Jan, Penny, Liz and Bonnie Oosterman and two generations of Nieces and Nephews that all called him Uncle T. A memorial service is planned by the family in the spring, to be announced at a later date.
