COOPER - The funeral of Mrs. E. L. Hastings, 83, of Commerce, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Pecan Gap, where McDonald Funeral Home of Cooper will make burial. Grandsons will be bearers.
Mrs. Hastings, who died at home Monday, was the former Miss Rose Emma Fisk, born in Alabama, January' 14, 1876, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Fisk.
Survivors are her husband, these children: Mrs. Doyle Box, Commerce; Mrs. B. C. Shaw, Mrs. L R Brooks and Garland Hastings, all of Lubbock; S. L. Hastings, Huntsville, Ala. and and Buddy Hastings, Irving; 18 other descendants; three sisters, Mrs. E.E. Tate, Mrs Robert Tate and Mrs. Carrie Hickman and a brother Cameron Fisk, all of Huntsville, Ala.

Services for Mrs. E. L. Hastings were held Wednesday, afternoon at the Pecan Gap Methodist church. The Rev. Guy Perdue of Killeen officiated.
Mrs. Hastings died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Doyle Box, 1313 Pecan street. She had been a resident of this city about 12 years.
Also surviving are her husband and two other daughters, Mrs. Carrie Shaw and Mrs. Ettie Lee Brooks, both of Lubbock; three sons, Shelby Hastings, Huntsville, Ala, garland Hastings, Lubbock, and Buddy Hastings, Irving; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Burial was in the Pecan Gap Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Emma Fisk Hastings were held Wednesday afternoon at 2'oclock in the Pecan Gap Methodist Church. Interment was made in the Pecan Gap Cemetery, Grandsons were pallbearers.
Mrs. Hastings passed away at her home in Commerce Monday morning at 11 o'clock. She was born in Alabama January 14, 1876 and lived in the Pecan Gap area twenty-five years prior to moving to Commerce.
Surviving are her husband, E. L. Hastings; three daughters, Mrs. Doyle Box, Commerce; Mrs. B. C. Shaw and Mrs. L. R. Brooks, Lubbock; three sons, S.L. Hastings, Huntsville, Ala; Garland Hastings, Lubbock; and Buddy Hastings, Irving; three sisters, Mrs. E. E.
