Katherine Allmond Pierce, 87, died May 8, 2007, at Nansemond Pointe.
Born October 24, 1919, in Suffolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Herman and Gladys Estelle Waddell Allmond and widow of Clifton Linwood Pierce, Jr. Mrs. Pierce was a life long member of Suffolk Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Katherine Lynn Hacker of Virginia Beach, Martha Ann Gruszecki and husband, Paul A. Gruszecki of Collinsville, IL, and Connie Leigh Blair and husband, Cornelius (Neil) O. S. Blair, Jr., of Suffolk.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Suffolk Christian Church by the Rev Michael D. Halley with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the R. W.
