Daughter of Jonathan Bradley and Anna Sabin(s) of Madison County, New York. Her father died in 1829, leaving her mother to raise five small children with little funds to provide for them. Nevertheless, she was "a mother to be proud of." All five of her children became virtuous and industrious adults. Three of her sons went to California, and one [Elisha L. Bradley] became a State Senator.

A. Reynolds, Mrs. John Shields, Mrs. W. E. Call and Mrs. C. M. Vanderbogart, a native of New York, aged 82 years, 4 months, 14 days. ... funeral ... from the residence of W. D. Reed. Hicks avenue.
