Tempie Ann Abner
JUNE 11, 1948 – MAY 24, 2023
Tempie Ann Abner, age 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Tempie was born June 11, 1948 in Paris, Kentucky the daughter of the late Pete and Virginia Fitzpatrick.
Tempie loved being with family including her foster children. She had a love of all animals, she was known to feed & care for all wildlife, from a squirrel & birds to a possum and a family of mice. If she had to choose favorites it would be her chihuahua's and the neighborhood stray cats which would turn into "stray pets" living in their garage.
Tempie is survived by her husband: Ronald Abner, children: Ronald Abner, II, Candice Brandenburg and Jamie Hoover, sister: Betty Kelley and a grandson: Jaiden Tong. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister: Sandra Thompson and a brother: Terry Fitzpatrick.
A visitation for Tempie will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Tempie will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 38th St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
