"There ain't no benches in bull riding" Heath

Heath William Dorey of Leola, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 at Children's Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 15. He was born Aug. 25, 1988 at Little Rock, Ark., the son of Robin and Lisa Phillips Dorey. He attended Family Church of Bryant and loved Pastor Perry. He attended Awana at Leola Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving, giving, sharing child. He loved the farm he lived on and knew every inch of the land. He always wanted all of his friends to enjoy what he was blessed with. He was not pretentious, but just a homegrown Leola boy who loved his surroundings and family very much. He was an avid hunter and like to fish. Four-wheeling, bull-riding, and horseback riding were his favorite sports. He also loved the Lord and enjoyed going to Awana with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Katie Dorey; his paternal grandparents, Carlton and Tudy Dorey, and maternal grandparents, Homer and Bonnie Phillips all of Leola. Other survivors include many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Megan Elizabeth Dorey.
