RITA C. CARROLL Leavenworth - Rita C. Carroll, 77, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Medicalodge of Leavenworth. She was born on February 17, 1946 in Pratt to Emmett and Elizabeth (Younger) Hacker. Rita married Roy Carroll on May 28, 1966 in Pratt. They were married for 57 years. Rita graduated from Pratt High School in 1964. She went on to receive her Associate Degree from Pratt Community College. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Immaculate Conception Altar Society. She enjoyed spending time with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Roy; son, Christopher (Susan) Carroll of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Sister Rose Hacker of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and grandson, Colin Carroll. Rita is preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place. A rosary and vigil service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2023 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
