Mr. Sam H. Hudson and Miss Lina Armfield, daughter of Mr. E. A. Armfield, were married in the parlor of the Methodist church last Thursday night at eight o'clock. Rev. M. A. Smith officiated. The marriage was a very quiet affair and only the following persons were present: Mrs. E. A. Armfield, Miss Annie Smith, Miss Wilma Armfield, Messrs. Wriston Lee, Emsley and Davis Armfield, Walter Laney and Gus Henderson.
The bride and groom are well-liked young people. Mr. Hudson is a young man of splendid habits, strict integrity and close application to business. Mrs. Hudson is very popular amongst a large circle of friends, and altogether the young couple have the best wishes of all who know them for a happy, useful and prosperous life. They are boarding with Mr. Hudson's mother, Mrs. D. McKenzie.
