Adeline "Addie" (Blaisdell) Mullen passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving children. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Mullen Sr., with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.

Born in 1932 in Lynn to the late Edmund and Celia (Savard) Blaisdell. She was part of the graduating class of 1950 at Lynn High School. A devoted Mother to Linda N. Gideika and husband Anthony C. of Lynn, James E. Mullen Jr and wife Tracy of Euless, TX, Pamela Kline and husband John of Natick, Paul Mullen and partner Ruth Bitchell of Newbury, Mark Mullen and wife Julie of Cape Coral, FL, Laurent Mercier of Amesbury and (predeceased) Timothy Mullen. Grandmother of Lauren Soares and husband Keith, Anthony C. Gideika Jr., Lindsey Saunders and husband Elliott, Kathryn Miller and husband Jamie, James E. Mullen III and wife Kerrin, Corey Mullen, Janessa Foley and husband Flynt, Olivia Mullen, Jarrod Mullen, Samantha Mercier DiNicola and husband Chris, Cody Mercier, Brenda VanKleeck and husband Ken and Donna Lapierre. Siblings to: Claire Hunt and Nancy Dembro (Borders) predeceased by both. Joanne Riley, Patsy D'Angelo, Elaine Bellone, Annette Crowe, Janice Smerczynski, Ed Blaisdell, Tom Blaisdell and all of her cherished great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Our mom was such a special, kind hearted woman and anyone who met her knew this instantly. Her arms were always open anytime you needed a shoulder to lean or cry on. Being one of the eldest siblings, she loved keeping an eye out for her younger siblings growing up and always made time for them as she got older. The siblings established routine get-togethers, which they named "Club" where they would spend time together, laugh and catch up on each other's lives. Our Mom made her family, friends and anyone who came to our home feel welcomed and a part of the family. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were always her top priority and her arms were always open to them at any time. She was not a career woman, but the kind of stay at home Mom you would pray for. She enjoyed decorating her home for holidays, planting her beautiful flowers, babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren and no one spread more love in her lifetime than our Mom. Thank you Mom for leaving us all with beautiful memories and lasting traditions that we will cherish forever. Till we meet again in heaven.

The Mullen Family would like to extend a special Thank You to Partners Home Care and to the Nurses, CNAs and Staff at The Ledgewood Skilled Nursing Home and Care Dimensions of Danvers, for the compassionate care they provided our Mother Addie.

Service Information: Friends and family are invited to attend Addie's visitation on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
