Alana "Faith" Johnson, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, 1947, Faith was the daughter of Charles A. Ray & Anita H. Flaherty.
She was a longtime member the Guardian Angels Catholic Church. She could often be found outside in her yard tending to her flowers. She loved flowers of all kinds, having a botanical gardens of sorts in her backyard where she tended to, pruned and cared for her beloved flowers & plants. She was a caretaker, caring for her family & often her neighbors. Faith cherished the recent birth of her first grandchild, Ella & had a heart of gold! Faith lived a full life – a life well – lived!
Besides her parents, Charles A. & Anita H. Ray; her daughter, Dawn, precedes Faith in her passing.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Wayne Stanley Johnson; son, Eric W. (Krysten) Johnson; granddaughter, Ella Johnson; grand – dog, Dutch; plus, a host of other relatives & friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Faith will be laid to rest in the Garden of Flowers of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums, where she will rest for eternity. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour of 2:00 p.m.
