She was born on December 19, 1925 in Arena, WI on December 19, 1925 the son of John and Ella (Mellonberger) Amacher. Arlene was united in marriage to Iver Schara on September 18, 1943. She was employed by Wisconsin Dairies for many years.
She is survived by; a son, David (Jane) Schara; a daughter, Jacqueline (James) Hoege; grandson, Randall (Sue) Hoege; granddaughter in law, Kathryn O'Brien Hoege; great grandsons, Taylor and Brandon Hoege; sister in law, Rosie Johnson; many nieces, nephews, family and friends; special thank you to close friends, Wilbert and Maryann Cummings and Richard Barbian for all you did for Arlene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Iver, a grandson, Ronald Hoege, and a sister Judy Lewis and many other loved ones.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the First United Church of Christ, Sauk City.
