FAIRVIEW, Sanpete County--Funeral for Mrs. Melinda Peterson Sanders, 84, will be Saturday 1 p.m. Fairview Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She died Wednesday 4 a.m. at the home of a daughter in Cedar City, of causes incident to age.

Born Feb. 20, 1875, Fairview, to Christian and Christena Anderson Peterson. Married to Daruis Sanders June 20, 1894, Manti, LDS Temole. He died Nov. 19. 1952.

Survivors: 2 sons, 6 daughters. Mrs. Ione Rigby, Fairview; John F., Las Vegas, Nevada; Mrs. Vera Brady, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Leah Onk, Oakdale, California; Mrs. Hilda Tullis, Cedar City: Mrs. Orba Seeley, Ogden; Mrs. Viola Whipple, Boise, Idaho; Chris, Overland Park, Kansas; 27 grandchildrenm 33 great-grandchildren, a brother, 3 sisters, James, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, Mrs. Ellen Turpin, Mrs. Minerva Vance, all Fairview.

Friends call Jacobs Mortuary. Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete County. Friday 7-9 p.m., at family horne Saturday
prior. Burial, Fairview City Cemetery.

To this union they had the following childen: Ellis Ione Sanders, Lavera Christina Sanders, Leoma May Sanders, John Frank Sanders, Hilda Irene Sanders, Orba "D" Sanders, Viola Sanders and Wanda Nancy Sanders.
