Her name was actually Josephine Neva per early records. Apparently, she began going by her middle name.

Neva Josephine Siratt Robertson, 91, passed away on June 16, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Neva was born November 10, 1924, to Grace and Rubin Siratt in the New DeRoche Community, the fourth of six children. She married Claude C. Robertson on October 25, 1945, and moved to Houston, Texas, making it her home for over 70 years. Together they raised three children, Milton, Alton and Sue.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at 10:00 AM in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Alan Cansler was officiating. Visitation was held on Monday, June 20, 2016. Interment will be at Prairie Bayou Cemetery following the service.
Special thanks to Serenity's Haven in Tomball, Texas, for six years of care.
