Verona M. Osborne was born Aug. 21, 1920, in West Valley Township near Strandquist to Victor and Nannie Lefrooth. She attended school and was baptized and confirmed in that area. She worked at Western Electric Co. in Seattle, Wash., for many years, until she retired because of ill health.

She passed away July 3 in Seattle. Verona is survived by her mother, Nannie Lefrooth at KMNC at Karlstad; three sisters, Mrs. Oliver (Rose) Jevne of Strathcona, Mrs. Richard (Leila) Trawicki of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. R. (Y.) Borowicz of Maplewood; two brothers, Laurel Lefrooth of St. Paul and Gordon Lefrooth of Strandquist; her aunt, Edna Lofstrom of Vancouver, B.C., Canada; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Daniel H. Osborne, who passed away 1 year ago May 30th; her grandparents, father, four brothers, one sister, two nieces and three nephews.

Funeral arrangements were made by Greenlake Funeral Home. Interment was at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park. Private services were for the family.

Those attending from a distance were L. Lefrooth, L. Trawicki, Y. Borowicz, E. Lofstrom and L. Lofstrom.
