Shirlee, beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother of 5, Shirlee Sherman, gone at age 57. Shirley was a lifetime resident of Omaha who graduated from Central High School in 1968. She held various positions, as well as supplementing her income with long standing housekeeping clients. Friends and family would characterize Shirlee as always willing to lend a helping hand along with her contagious laugh and smile. She always thought of others first. Shirlee loved working in her garden and had an artistic flair with crafts. But her biggest joys were her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jeff Sherman, IA and Kelly Wedgwood, Omaha; by her grandchildren, Andrew Cannia, Madison Wedgwood, Erica, Aaron, and Jaden Sherman; by her siblings, Bradley, Terry, and Daniel Waite all of Omaha, and Jetta, Marlene, and Robert Banks, TX; by her parents, Bob and Joanne Banks, Bellevue, and Roland F. Waite, Omaha.
