Rev. R P Holt, an aged minister of the M E Church, South, died at Huntsville Dec 11, at the home of his daughter, Mrs S C Attebery. His remains were brought to this place and interred in the Brown cemetery by the side of his wife, who died here several years ago. Rev Holt was a native of KY. He left two daughters, Mrs. Attebery of Huntsville, and Mrs. John Wynne of Trenton MO. Mrs Thompson Dameron, wife of the junior editor of the Huntsville Herald, is a granddaughter and Miss Lou Wynne of this city, a great-granddaughter. (Undated copy from the Gallatin Democrat)
