Anna Henrietta (nee Anderson) Sessions was born September 3, 1875, in the town of Nelson, Buffalo county, to parents Emma and Robert Anderson, and died suddenly at her home in Mondovi, November 1, 1943.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Pleasant Valley Church and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Ladies' Aid.
On May 24, 1899, she was married to Joseph Sessions. Six children were born to them, a son Roy and a daughter Myrtle, preceeding her in death. Those surviving are two daughters, Josephine Rud of Mondovi, and Ruth Fitch of Eau Claire, and two sons, Arthur and Philip of Mondovi. She is also survived by a sister, Julia Smith, of Montana, and two brothers, Neal and Andrew Anderson of Eau Claire, and nine grandchildren, besides her husband.
Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Valley church Friday afternoon, Nov. 5, Rev. H. A. Wichmann officiating. Three hymns "Face to Face," "Sweet Bye and Bye," and "Blest Be the Tie That Binds," were sung by the church quartet. Interment was in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
