Conrad J. Robydek, "Connie", age 74, of Cheboygan, died on Monday May 29, 2023, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. The son of Gregory and Barbara (Wolf) Robydek, Conrad was born and raised in Cheboygan, April 26, 1949. Shortly after graduating from Cheboygan High School, he was inducted into the U.S. Army and stationed in Germany. He honorably served for two years before returning home to Cheboygan. Upon his return, he took employment with Cheboygan Cement Products where he worked for 42 years until his retirement. In 1967 Connie married Sandra Robiadek. Together they raised 2 children, Tim and Steve. Sandra preceded him in death in 1999. In 2011, Connie married Patricia "Patty" Bedell.
Surviving Connie is his wife, Patricia; sons, Steve (Chelesea) and Tim (Amanda); step-children, Tammy Bedell (Chris Hudak), Heather (John) Woloszyn and Brandi; Grandchildren, Collin, Ariana, Natalie, Emmett, Ethan, Dylan, Aidan, Colton, Autumn, Lucas, Alayna, Lance, Aleah and Maisy. He also leaves his siblings, Ronald (Linda), Jerome (Shelby), David (Karen), Carlton, Ann (James) Couture and Marilyn (Randy) Haley; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Connie was an avid football fan. He enjoyed riding wave-runners and four-wheelers. He was always busy with projects at home or working in his garden. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching them in their various activities and sports.
