Craig Alva Poole, 23, Cape­fair, died March 20, 2008, in Capefair.

He was born Aug. 10, 1984, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Claude Alvie and DeAnna Kay (Folks) Hicks.

Mr. Poole worked at Chateau On The Lake in Branson. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, canoeing and capturing outdoor scenes in his paintings. He was known for his quick wit and being a prankster.

Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Alva Poole, and his father, Alvie Poole.

Surviving are his mother, DeAnna, and stepfather, Troy Hicks, Capefair, and stepmother Anne Poole, Harrisonville; a brother, T.J. Poole and his wife, Christina, Ozark; a sister, Courtney Poole, Harrisonville; three stepbrothers, Kyle Poole, Nathan Poole and Jonathan Poole, all of
Harrisonville; his grandmother, Marilyn Poole, Harrisonville; his grandparents, Duane and Arlene Folks, Eagle Rock; and two nieces, CarLee and Destiny.

Honorary casket bearers were Kyle Poole, Nathan Poole, Jonathan Poole, Courtney Poole and Steve Folks.

Casket bearers were T.J. Poole, Troy Hicks, John Lucas, Eddie Johnson, Justin Carney and Joe Carney.

Services were March 24 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, with Pastor Brad Fogo, officiating.

Burial was in Orient Ceme­tery, Harrisonville, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.
