Ramona "Mona" Bourgeois

Mona was born, raised and resided in Barstow, California. She was a vital part of her community where she was involved with community sports, schools, dance studios and city events for over 40 years.
Mona is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Bourgeois, Sr.; her children: Nicole Duarte (Tony Duarte), Ronald Bourgeois, Jr. (Evelyn Montoya), and Amanda Bourgeois; her grandchildren: Stephen Ruelas (Krystin Ruelas), Breanna Ruelas, Emilio Rodriguez (Bourgeois), Taylor Britt, Ronald Bourgeois III, Alexandria Duarte, Lorenzo Duarte, Tabitha Britt, Trent Bourgeois, and Serenity Bourgeois; her great grandchildren: Allawna Ruelas and Kage Ruelas; her sister Cindy Burg (Ed Burg) as well as her extended family Carmen Cortinas, Marissa Cortinas (Austyn Willis), Landon Willis and Levi Willis.
Ramona is a person of unimaginable beauty with a spirit that brings everyone she meets a feeling of comfort and happiness. She lived in every moment, was always kind and passionate, and offered an open door to all of those that she loved. Mona will be greatly missed, but in every move we make, we will feel her with us as she continues to guide and watch over us.
