CHARLES E. HAND Charles E. Hand, 69, a former Sandusky resident, was pronounced dead upon arrival Sunday evening at Providence Hospital. He was taken ill at the home of his son, Charles, Portland Road, Oxford Township where he had been making his home. A retired employe of the American Crayon Hand was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald Lang and Mrs. Christ Petersen and two sons, John and Charles, all Sandusky; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. William Hoope, Crystal Rock; Mrs. Albert Spring and Miss Almera Hand, both Sandusky; two brothers, George, Sandusky and Edward, Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Marie, preceded him in death in 1956. Frinds will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Frey Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are to be announced later.

Services for CHarles E. Hand were held this afternoon in the Frey Funeral Home, The Rev. W. Bruce Harris officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Robert and Kenneth Hand, Larry March, Richerd Brightman, Albert Spring and Robert Campbell.
