On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Charles Richard Clark, beloved husband, cherished father and grandfather, and long-time resident of Kodak, TN passed on at age 75 with his family by his side.

Charles was born on August 5, 1947, in Elizabethtown, KY to Willard and Florence Clark. After high school, he enrolled in a trade school where he earned a degree in Tool Design. Charles had a long and successful career as a draftsman and tool designer for companies including McDonnell Douglas and TRW Automotive. On December 4, 1971, he married the love of his life and wife of 51 years Theresa Ann Clark in East Orlando. Together they raised their two children, Richard Andrew and Candace Anne.

Charles, a guitar enthusiast and talented guitar player, shared his love of music with friends and family. He appreciated the simple things in life: he loved woodworking and was always tinkering with projects around the house. He took great pleasure in working with his hands and making things for his loved ones; any idea Theresa brought to him, he made happen! Charles also found great pleasure at family gatherings and cookouts. He was most comfortable in the great outdoors, surrounded by the woods, birds, and the open sky. He had a quick sense of humor, loved to tell jokes and watch classic cartoons, and could hold people captive with his great stories, especially those about the good ole days and family history. Charles will forever be remembered as a compassionate, dependable, and loving Christian family man.

Charles is preceded in death by his father (Willard), his mother (Florence), and his brother (Danny Clark.) He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Clark; his two children, Richard (and wife Ashley), and Candace (and husband Daryl); his sister Brenda Steenbergen; and his 6 grandchildren, Joseph, Madison, Matthew, Jackson, Mason, Gianna, and Sophia; and several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 11:00 am-1:00pm at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN., 118 E Main St, Sevierville, TN., 37862.
