CAMERON – Eleanor A. (Jones), 72, Ebensburg, passed away Oct. 3, 2010, at Windber Hospice. Born Jan. 3, 1938, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Rowland Lester and Mary (Howell) Jones. Preceded in death by infant brother, Edward, and son-in-law, Terry Moore. Survived by husband, James E., to whom she was married 52 years; children, Richard A., married to the former Helen Dove, Dyer, Ind.; Dr. Russell E., married to the former Robin Burket, DuBois; Lynn Anne Moore, Pittsburgh; Deborah Jean, wife of David B. Irwin, Loretto; and Jamie E., wife of James A. McGhee, Nanty Glo; and grandchildren, Kristen and Gregory Cameron, Jessica and Christopher Cameron and Breanna and Ian McGhee. Sister of Allan D. (Margaret) Jones, Ohio and Florida. Member of the Colver Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Women's Association. Graduate of Colver Elementary School, Ebensburg Cambria High School and Windber Hospital School of Nursing. Eleanor enjoyed reading, baking and movies. At Eleanor's request there will be no viewing. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Colver Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Dr. Stanley Bhasker, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Windber Hospice. Arrangements by Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg.
