OBITUARY: Bridgeport, Ill Emmett Stookey 90 former Bridgeport resident, died Wednesday, 9 p.m. in Red Hills Resthaven. He was born on Dec 13, 1883. He was a retired employe of the Sinclair Oil Co. and for many years was a gunsmith in Bridgeport. Surviving are the Widow, Mrs Hattie ThompsonStookey; a daughter, Mrs Mildred Espinosa, Spokane, Wash.; and four grandchildren. Funeral will be Saturday, 2 p.m. Cunningham-Nichols Chapel, with burial in the Bridgeport cemetery.
