Hugh Quail Sr, age 88, of Lisle, NY. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends, Donald and Tamera Cole on Saturday January 7th, 2023. Predeceased by wife of 47 years JoAnn Quail, his daughter Sherry Kleine, his parents and his siblings.

He is survived by one sister, Aldine Gedeon. Daughters are Nina (Don) Perry, Rita (Jake) Slack, Tina (Bill) Sturdevant, Yvonne (Shawn) Canniff, Suzan (Chad) Tedder and Andrea (Mike) Hill. Sons are Michael (Missy) Quail, Mitchel (Eileen) Quail, Andrew Quail, Hugh Jr (Robin) Quail, son-in- law, David Kleine.

Grandchildren are Derek (Tanya) Perry, Katie Perry (Charlie Brightsen), Kelly Perry, Anthony (Stephenie) Slack, Michelle (Mike) Cook, Annette Mott, David (Holly) Slack, Heather Livingston, Jeanine (Brendan) Ballard, Christopher (Shannon) Slack, Nicole Sturdevant, William (Meg) Sturdevant II, Allyssa Brown (Connor Fabian), Destinee Canniff, Damian Canniff, Andrew Tedder, Anastasia Tedder, Morgan Hill, Alex Hill, Chanel Quail, Nate (Crystal) Quail, Mitch Jr (Tiffany) Quail, Michael (Dulcie) Quail, Steven Quail, Brian (Bethann) Quail, Mandy Quail, Alesha Voltz, Jordan Voltz, Breanna Voltz, Darci (Gary) McKewin, Shawn O'Neill. Hugh was the highway superintendent for the town of Lisle, NY for 28 years. From an early age, Hugh worked for the town of Lisle and had his own construction business that helped numerous people of this area. If he wasn't on his construction equipment and playing scratch off lottery tickets, he wanted to spend time with family and friends. When visiting family and friends, he would love telling stories and jokes that made everyone laugh. Hugh loved music by singing songs, telling stories in song and playing his harmonicas and fiddle.
