Beverly J. Bristle, 62, of Ogden, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines.
Beverly Jean Bergloff was born on December 26, 1945 in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Gladys (Nelson) Bergloff. She attended grade schools in Moingona and graduated with the Boone High School Class of 1964. Beverly was united in marriage to Dennis D. Bristle on July 27, 1977, in Boone, Iowa, and the couple made their home on a farm south of Ogden. Bev was employed as a bookkeeper for Mike Haws and later took care of the farm book work. She enjoyed working on the farm, gardening and especially loved taking care of her horses. Bev moved to the Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines in October of 2003.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Dennis Bristle of Ogden, Iowa; son Grant Jordan of Ogden, Iowa; two brothers, Larry Bergloff of Independence, Missouri, and Jack Bergloff of Memphis, Tennessee; an aunt, Jo Boken of Exira, Iowa; brother-in-law, Ron and wife Karla Bristle of Ogden, Iowa; father-in-law "Pete" Bristle of Ogden, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
