Matville
On Sunday last Millard Harper, who has been confined to his bed for the past four or five months, passed from this world to the spirit land, and his remains were laid to rest in the Harper graveyard. Mr Harper was a honest, upright man, and leaves many friends to mourn his departure, and who unite in the hope that their loss is his gain. "A gentle voice said come, and angels from the other shore welcomed the loved one home." He is survived by three brothers and two sisters.
1880 census shows age 12; 1900 census shows birth May 1875.
